I went through this phase where I was too lazy to reach into my giant purse and pull out my camera that is always in there waiting to be used.
But alas, the camera has made its appearance again, so that I can share lovely pictures of our weekend festivities, rather than just boring words.
Last weekend we took my nephew Judson to the State Fair. I always went to the State Fair growing up with my former farmer dad and he had all these animal facts he shared with us. I always want to go to the State Fair every year for nostalgia. So Juan and I decided to go, and we brought Judson along because life is always more exciting with a kid in tow!

This weekend, our friends Julaine, Jason, and baby Addison were in town. Julaine and I went to Women's Conference and then we ate at The Pie afterwards. I love the downtown location of The Pie, it made me feel young and super hip. Although saying 'super hip' has aged me back to my 24 year old self.

Jason can never keep his eyes open in pictures. And I love this one because he looks like he has a ponytail. And Addison, so cute!
So we do manage to have fun amidst my pregnancy tiredness and Juan's study marathons. PS everyone wish Juan good luck, it's test week for him this week!

oh man i wish we were at "the pie" right now! i only went once but it was AMAZING. and i love the hip atmosphere too. we just watched "how i met your mother" for the first time and it was hilarious! i'm totally going to start watching it.

We had fun that night. Glad you guys came out with us. Addison's face is not so cute, hopefully the tongue sticking out phase doesn't last too long!
I miss The Pie pizza. It looks SOOO good in the picture. Good luck Juan you will do awesome on your tests. How fun that you got to take Judson with you. I bet he had a great time. Carley says Hi and she wants to see you soon and she loves you and that she wants to play with you.

You had a fun weekend. Great pictures! The Pie downtown definitely has a cooler atmosphere than the new Pie. Tyler says it will never be the same without the smoke though (yuk! I didn't like eating there then.) The pizza does look so good in the pictures.

Ah! I didn't know you were pregnant! Whoo Hoo! I am so excited for you! When do you get to find out what you are having? I am excited to hear!
Judson has the funniest facial expressions. I am sad we missed the state fair. Sam claims that he has only bee there once. I can't believe I didn't make him go there more.
PS We haven't tried Red Iguana yet. We think about it every time we are in Utah. We will have to go in December.
poor judson does look frightened of the animals, but great practice for you and juan. love the pie, actually pizza sounds so good right now.
