Thoughts as my due date nears

The positive ones:

No back aches. I've been sleeping like a dream. I've still been working full time and my work is so flexible, I sleep in a few times a week which is wonderful. No major discomforts, the evenings are the worst and not even that bad.

The outlook is that she's going to come late, I can do this pregnancy thing for a week extra.

The negative ones:

She is soooo going to be 13 pounds. Every doctor tells me, that's a good-sized baby in there!

Also, I have a co-worker who is nasty sick right now. I told Juan last night that if I get his sickness, I am so going to egg his house. In which Juan replied, adults don't threaten things like that anymore.

What I'll be doing to induce labor:

Nothing crazy here. I'm not quite ready for some herbal treatment or anything like that. I'll be walking stairs 2 at a time. I'll be bouncing on my exercise ball while I watch tv. I already had a talk with the babe and welcomed her into the world. Yes a website mentioned babies were just waiting on their welcome, thought that was hilarious and could totally see my little girl pulling attitude like that.

5 more days until due date, my guess still stands at 9 more days to March 12. The latest I'd be induced is March 15. So 12 more days at the most!

thats great you are feeling so good! my last few days I was miserable and spent them soaking in a bath all day ;-) but hey I went 2 days early so maybe it helped.

i can't wait to see her. she is going to be so cute.

oh, and I repeatedly told carly to come on august 10th. my doctor said no way and scheduled induction for the 17th. and she came on the 10th. maybe that welcome thing has some merit?

I can't believe that you're assuming you will be so late! I guess you're prepared that way... :)

Good luck when she decides to come!

That's funny to think babies are waiting to be welcomed into the world. Your little Amelia with an attitude already? I hope not!

You are awesome for sticking it out with work. To me that was the hardest part of pregnancy.

I can just imagine you bouncing along on your exercise ball tummy and all! It's great!

P.S. I hope she's not 13 lbs. that would be a killer. I'll pray for under 10 for you.

It's SO SOON! Yay! Can you even believe it!? I can't believe we've been gone enough for you to be having a baby! I am so excited for you and wishing everything goes well. And don't worry... they thought Brooklyn was big and she was only 8lbs 6oz.

You've done so good with being patient as the days have drawn closer to the due date. Counting down is my favorite and if she comes late even better, right?! Maybe you guys need to see Alice in wonderland on the day you though you'd be due...isn't that what you said, you'd go into labor watching that movie, maybe that's the trick!
