Juan is 26 today!
We've officially known each other 10 years now.
We met 1 day before his 16th birthday. I left youth conference a few days early. I remember begging my friend Miriam to get a picture of him so I could do the 15-year-old girl thing and carry around a picture of a guy I hardly knew. I had a major crush on him.
We had our first kiss exactly 8 years ago, on his 18th birthday.
This is a special time of year for us.
I'm loving this time we have in Denver to be in our own little cocoon of our 3-person family. It is so much fun to be here, knowing virtually nobody, and exploring together. Juan works so hard for our family. I love him.
And of course Miss Amelia always deserves a spot in the post. Here is what she is up to lately, I call it the 3/4 rollover. She is so close!

She is a talker! I can't believe she is almost rolling over. Jordan hasn't even started rolling over yet. By the way I am transferring all my video tapes over to DVD and I had to watch all our crazy dance videos at BYU. We were nuts!

Wow!! She's getting so big. Almost rolling over, that's crazy. Good for her. No more putting her on the couch, I guess.
Looks like she is talking back to you... and then every once in a while she remembers you are taping her and does a little side pose. haha. So cute!

I love the 3/4 roll. She is so riled up it's like she doesn't even know she's rolling over. She's adorable like always! She's getting some chunk on those legs. So cute!
I thought you had known Juan a little longer then a month when Sam and I almost embarrassed you by going to his house and knocking his door to meet him. Good thing he wasn't home!
Happy Birthday Juan. I am so glad you guys are having a great time in Denver. We are in Utah right, waiting to hear about a couple more jobs, life is crazy. I love Amelia's roll, West started rolling over about 2 moths ago, she is way ahead of him. So cute!!
