The last week has been a whirlwind.
Wednesday: My last day of work.

No more time cut short with this little girl.
Thursday: We cleaned and moved clear out of our beloved apartment in Provo. Pictures unrelated, but cute.
This is what Amelia looks like without all her hair. She was not happy with the cap.

Busting out of her bassinet. She is getting so big.

Look at those gorgeous brown eyes.
Thursday we also said good bye to family and friends.

H&T and kids with Amelia.
Saturday and Sunday were spent unpacking, organizing our new home, and getting to know the area.
Monday: The day we've all been waiting for. My first day as a stay-at-home mom, Juan's first day at his internship. I should have gotten a picture of Juan, he looks so good in his work clothes.

Tuesday: We hosted my sister Crystal and her husband and little boy. We spent the day hanging out downtown Denver.

Amelia prepared for the day. Sunhat check, sunblock check, summer blanket check. I love how she's holding her blanket in this picture.

We hit up 16th street mall and ate at Hard Rock Cafe.

Denver State Capitol

Denver Convention Center and the Blue Bear.

Cutie sitting by mom in the back seat.
And today: We are back to hanging out. We had to borrow the swing, pack n play, and stroller from our friend Alyson in Denver for the summer. Everything else we fit in our car, packed it to the brim. Thank you Alyson, you're a lifesaver.
And Millie still is not holding up her head. Not even trying. To her defense, her head is big, in the 90th percentile. Any suggestions on getting this girl to try some head lifts?

i love all the pics. she's a trooper! Road tripper!!
hehe i love the video, Andrew totally did that too in his sleep. Have a fun summer in Denver!
I just can't believe your baby girl! I just wanted to bite those little cheeks in all of those pictures!!! She is just irresistible! I'm glad you made it to Denver in one piece... looks like a lot of fun so far. So wish we could be together again!
Loved that video. She is so precious and I love how she feel asleep. I wish I could hold her. Congrats on the big move to Denver; so exciting. You'll be having an awesome summer. :)
She seriously is SO cute! I can't wait to see her.
I totally know about the drive, Ben always has high expectations of making it in record time but kids just make it more interesting.
She is SO beautiful! I love her eyes. I forgot you were moving to Denver. What area did you end up moving to?
Oh my gosh, I can't get enough of looking at this little girl. She is gorgeous. A thought for the head holding - I would put Charlotte's tummy on her boppy so her head would have to be held up or hang down (which she hated) then I would talk/sing/put the t.v. on/something to get her attention forward and up. Good luck. Have fun in Denver!
Amelia is such a gorgeous doll! That video made me laugh--did she really just fall asleep?!!?! :D
Our little girl doesn't like to lift her head up either. She'd way rather lick whatever surface she's laying on. :) We try putting her tummy on the boppy, too, and that helps a little, but she still doesn't have much interest. I figure I'll keep trying and eventually she'll get better at it.
Oh, and Amelia is SO adorable. I figure it never gets old to hear that about your child--and I'm sure you've heard it a lot. :)
You had a very busy week! I'm glad you are all settled in your new place and all is well. Denver looks awesome! I hope I'll get to come visit! I'm so sad Amelia is going to grow up so much in a few months.
All of the pictures of Amelia are so adorable! And in the video, she put so much effort in trying to pick her head up that she just fell right asleep! ;) She is such a cutie, and my mom and I are really sad that we haven't had the chance to meet her yet. :( Keep posting pictures!
