The Dark Knight

Here is my review. The acting was amazing. Heath Ledger was precisely the best Joker you could ever imagine. Christian Bale was gorgeous as always. The storyline was innovative and different, but good. I was excited and intrigued... for the first half of the movie. Then it got long. Everyone is going to hate me because in my group of 10 people, I'm pretty sure every single one of them adored this movie. And every other review I've read from critics have all been fabulous. But really. If this movie was 2 hours instead of 3, I would have LOVED it. But because of the length and because I got to the point where I was asking Juan what time it was every 15 minutes, I'm going to say that it was a great action movie, but I liked Ironman and Hancock better this summer. Maybe I'm all action movied out. So there you have it. I have the next pick and I'm dragging Juan with me to see Mama Mia. He actually is offering to go to it because he knows I've gone to all his movies with him. Oh and ps for anyone who sees Juan before they see The Dark Knight, DON'T let his speak about it. We were at a ward bbq on Saturday and in a group of like 15 people he spilled out one of the biggest spoilers of the movie! He felt bad, hopefully everyone thought he was joking.

you are not the only one who didn't like it; we haven't seen it yet but we had quite a few friends saw that it was too dark

Thanks for the review Cami. Believe it or not I didn't even realize what movie this was. I never know about movies since I watch everything off of my DVR. I'm sure this will be a rental for us. But I'll be at Mama Mia on my birthday next week! I can't wait for that one!

Hey Cami. Yes, I agree that it was long. Craig and I saw it last night for his b-day. He really liked it a lot... and I liked it, but I have a problem and I get too involved in movies, and then I start thinking they are real life. So it made me feel sad about the world... like I can't believe this stuff happens... and I was scared that someone was going to get me as I walked to my car. Haha. I'm crazy!
