1) Napping with grandpa.
2) A very serious and attentive Mary played by Amelia.
3) Christmas party with most of the family. Most memorable when we all sang Jingle Bells together to help 3 year old Benjamin who hilariously forgot how to sing it. The joy in Amelia's face as we all sang together. And again when my dad sang Chestnuts and we all joined in to sing it a 2nd time. All worth it.
4) Christmas Eve filled with caroling, new pajamas, and an exhausted Juan who must be devastated that he missed out on our annual viewing of White Christmas.
5) Christmas morning. Amelia loved it. And so did Maya, she was delighted with each gift and would point point point until we took toys out of the packaging. They've both been playing with all their toys nonstop ever since. Juan and I were pretty spoiled as well.
One day they will appreciate my family shots and not consider it torture.
6) Temple Square. The nativity and feeling the Spirit so strongly and knowing that Amelia knew how special it was also. And the temple, it was breath-taking. A very special experience there.
7) The view from our car at any given time and Amelia yelling, Mountains mommy, mountains!
8) A visit to the temple, our first time to the beautiful Draper temple. And brunch with our dear friends Andrea and Matt and Addy (in which we were too lame and didn't take pictures).
9) Cousins in matching pajamas. We bought these while Ginger was still pregnant and finally got our photo shoot.
Both folding their little hands.
After a tiny spill.
12) And the road trip. It goes into good and bad. Bad because it got L O N G. Good because I love my road trip memories from growing up. And quite enjoy being in that tiny space, spending time together. The girls were extremely good. A bit of whining here and there, but we really had fun with it.
I took a lot of sleeping pictures of Amelia. She is the most gorgeous sleeper.
Playing peek-a-boo. And giggling ensued. No better sounds
More silliness.

Cami, you got such great pictures of your vacation! They will be so fun to look back on. The pics of your girls surrounded by their gifts are too funny. And I always get stressed over trips too, but they are so worth the trouble (as long as there is a long break between each one)!
Great post Cami! It was all worth it! It was so much fun to have you here for the holidays. We didn't get to see you as much as I would've liked but I'm glad we did lots of fun things when we were together. Your family is so sweet and your girls are just precious. I love how you see the good in it all. Most people wouldn't even attempt the long drive with such small children but you guys are amazing!
What a fun trip for y'all and TOTALLY worth it!! I love all these pictures. I love Amelia as Mary. How cute! I love her new pj's too! I love Maya all bundled up sledding. Looks like so much fun. Glad you got to come home and spend so much time with family (and the best friends :) )! I want that little people princess castle! I bet they will love that. I am still amazed that you guys drive and the girls do so well. I can't even imagine how Addy would handle it! Can't wait to see you again soon!
I've been waiting to see pictures from the big trip! So glad it was all worth it. How special to share all those memories with you girls, and how fun for them to spend time with your family in Utah. I love the cute picture with Maya and Bennet. He's gotten so big! Amelia and Maya are such beautiful girls, and I can't wait to see them (and you!) again.
looks like such a fun trip! Glad your girls did ok in the car. And I bet they loved playing in the snow. Lexi was also so excited to see the mountains. I think it's sad we don't have any in Texas
It was so worth it and such a fun trip. I can't wait until the next time we have to hang out together again. Maybe Maya and Bennett will acknowledge each others' existence next time.
