Maya Vera arrived yesterday, January 11 at 1:30 pm. She weighed 8 lbs 2 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. She is such a good eater to my relief, and just the sweetest baby. Enjoy pictures. More details later.

We are so happy Maya is here. I looked up my entry in my journal when you were born, Cami. I washed windows and mopped the kitchen floor the day before. My water broke at 5:00 am and my labor pains started at the hospital at about 6:00 am You were born before Conference at 9:30+. I only had about 7 contractions from 5 cm to 10 cm so it came quite fast. I also pushed really hard once and the head came out. Then I pushed again and one shoulder came out and then the other. You weighed 8 lbs. 14 oz.
An encouraging note: A week after you were born, you ate at 11:00 pm and were sooo tired. You slept until 7 am Pretty cool! We're excited to get more pictures. Love the ones with Amelia and her little sister--her new best friend.
