Amelia weighs in at 12 lbs 1 oz (82nd percentile) and is 24 inches long (95th percentile). She smiles all the time, especially right when she wakes up in the mornings and right after she eats. And this morning I said good bye and she smiled and gave me a coo sound as if to say good bye right back. Melts my heart.
She loves to be at home. We'll get home after a long day and she'll be so happy to be back to her spot on the couch. She'll kick and grin. She falls asleep anytime we go out to a restaurant or the store. We tease that she is just faking asleep and maybe has social anxiety! Ha ha. For now we'll enjoy our angel girl when she is in public.
She eats and sleeps like a dream. She gets through a full feeding in 10 minutes tops. And that lasts her a full 3 hours. She must be efficient because she is definitely growing! She sleeps for a 6 hour chunk at night, followed by another 3 hour chunk. And she falls asleep even when we put her down when she is wide awake. She recognizes that it's night and that's her cue to drift off to sleep.
Is this not the perfect Juan face? Cracks me up, she looks exactly like him in this picture.She is still a daddy's girl. She misses him the very few times he's away from her. She literally looks around for him and then cries. And Juan spoils me, I went almost all weekend without changing one diaper. I must brag.
And I am cherishing every moment I have with her. Sometimes I won't put her down and I just let her take her naps in my arms. Time is zooming by too quickly! She will soon not be considered a newborn (does that happen at 3 months? Don't tell me if it's happened already, I need her to still be a newborn).A video of her talking. She is a lot more vocal when she is slightly frustrated.

Wow Cami, you guys have one of the cutest babies I've ever seen! I'm so happy for you that she's such a good sleeper and eater. It just makes it so much easier to adjust. Really she is absolutely adorable, please come visit us so we can meet her!

Wow, two months already?! I still remember when it was your due date, wondering when she'd come! She still looks as cute as ever, and I love that she's developing her little personality!
She is really just so cute! She sounds just like Brooklyn... she LOVED being at home! We always teased that she was our "Homebody" and just wanted to be at home all the time. Haha. And yes, that really is such a Juan face!
She is just gorgeous. Charlotte always slept when we went out and about and now she doesn't but she's so used to being out that she totally just takes it all in and doesn't fuss. I think I considered Charlotte to not be a newborn during her 3rd or 4th month when she seemed more 'baby' and not breakable.. =)
She is just so cute, do you ever get hearing people tell you that?! Probably not. She does some good talking for only being 2 months old! More videos.
Her pictures are adorable like always. She doesn't seem too frustrated in the video. She just looks like she's hanging out and chatting. I love her little voice.
She is such a pretty little girl. Watching her get bigger is so fun. I love how photogenic she is and you always have the cutest outfits on her. :)
Hi Cami! Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. Your little girl is adorable! I love all of her facial expressions. And she has the cutest clothes! :) I'm finding that little girls are probably way more expensive than boys because of all the cute stuff to buy and make. :)
I just can't get over how cute she is! I can't believe she is so big! I think Jordan is like 10 1/2 pounds and about 22 1/2 inches long. we'll know for sure next week when we take her to the doctor. I love all the cooing. And I can't believe she just falls asleep because she knows it is night time. I've got to get Jordan trained to do that! lol.
It is so fun to hear her talking. I have to say she loves to make that look in the first picture. It is her way of posing for the camera.
I am so glad she has been so good for you. Now you can try bringing her to movies and see if she sleeps through that.

Happy 2 months Amelia! i cant believe you have it so easy lucky girl... she sleeps eats quick and juan changes her diapers. being a mom must be a dream. heheh :) hey and like i said call me if you need some help moving or help with amelia.. my schedules flexible. happy weekend :)
