Juan is a GREAT gift giver. His gifts are always so thoughtful and sentimental. He got me custom-made m&m's that had pictures of us on each m&m and personalized messages. Can you eat something like that? I think not. Do m&m's mold or go rotten? As for my gift-giving skills, I'm hit and miss. Some years I go all out and make memory books or something else really heartfelt. Suffice it to say, this year was a miss. Father's Day. I will make it up to him on Father's Day.
We spent all Christmas vacation with family and missed seeing Juan's family. Up at East Canyon, my family vacation spot, we had a blast playing games and sledding. Here are some awesome sledding shots:
I hope everyone had a great holiday season! I sure did but am also happy to be back to a schedule. I guess I live for routine- waking up at the same time every day, sleeping in the same bed, showering in my own shower. Who ever knew I'd be happy to be back at work every day and Juan back in school.

What a fun tradition. Too bad you couldn't participate, over the summer I went with family to a water park and didn't get to ride on one dang slide. Sad..
That picture is so beautiful! I've never seen it before. That was so thoughtful. I don't think M&M's get moldy. They'll just dry out eventually. For sure take some pictures of them. I love thoughtful gifts!
The sledding pictures are really fun. It was great being up there with you guys. It's a fun tradition that we all look forward to. I'm glad we have it.
I totally know what you mean about being happy to be back in your own schedule! We just had everyone leave today and so this will be the first night Brooklyn will not be sleeping in our same room in 3 weeks!
Those are great gifts! I'm the same as you - hit or miss. I usually hope that Craig will do something great and creative for me and then forget about what I should do for him until the last minute! That is horrible! What a fun vacation you guys had! I agree with you... fam vacations are so nice - but it is also nice to get back to the real world. I'm glad you had such a good Christmas!
enjoy your routine now because once your little girl comes it will take a while to get back into one again
My mom has that same picture in her house and I really like it too. Juan is a good gift giver! I thought that was you in the first sledding picture and I was super impressed that you were sledding but I was wrong. Looks like it was alot of fun.
It looks like you guys had a great time! It is weird to see Juan in tennis shoes and pants :) I love the picture Juan gave you it is beautiful!
