Progressive Dinner

How many people can we fit into our tiny living room in our 1 bedroom apartment? Apparently over 20! Another tradition our family has is Progressive Dinner. 5 of us kids live spanned between Provo and Tooele. We make 5 stops and see everyone's decorations, and then have a course of the meal at each house. We did Great Harvest bread, I didn't want to bake anything, I have a curse of burning things in life.

My mom and dad, the starters of all these fabulous traditions. What a cute picture.

Most the family, it was hard to see the decorations in my house, all surface area was filled with people!

More family hanging out. Kent looks tired after climbing 2 flights of stairs in his crutches.

The rest of us. It was such a fun day and long, filled with lots of driving. But worth it. My sister Kelly and her family live in New Hampshire and weren't able to squeeze into our rotation. We missed you guys!

Cami it is totally your oven that makes your burn things. Don't curse yourself yet!

I love our Progressive Dinner tradition. Your apartment is great! I missed a lot of your decorations because they were hiding behind people but I can just imagine how cute they are. We have a great family.

You burn things in life??? Woah! ;) And yes, it is definitely your oven... remember when I would burn every dessert that I ever tried to make in those stupid ovens?!

I love your traditions, and this one especially is really nice. It's amazing how most of the kids in your family stayed in Utah! So fun.

and ps... We need to start KIT-ing better!!!! Hope you had a great Christmas!

Cami and Juan,

Thank you for your kind and reassuring words at this difficult time for us!

You mentioned your own experience-have you experience miscarriage as well? It is no fun!

Thank you again!

I love this tradition. Even though Juan gives us a bad time and says it takes forever, I know he loves it. We loved your Great Harvest bread. That started everything out so good. Your apartment was decorated great. You two are a super couple.
I love your blog. I'm just now starting to read everyone's blog. My computer is better now that Paul has worked on it.
