What are the odds?

Sometimes I just cannot understand something. It used to be the word 'conspiracy'. No matter how many times someone explained it to me, I just could not grasp what it meant. Now I understand the word completely.

NOW my problem is odds. 2-1 odds the tv show will not be canceled. 7-2 odds this fashion will stick. What? Who comes up with these things? And what do those numbers even mean? Good thing I am not a gambler, because things would not look good for me. I'm a relatively smart person, I do not like having to call Juan every time I need odds explained to me. Just had to vent on this, why can't my brain get it?

Update on past blog: I am a reader again! My friend started a book club blog and ever since I joined that, I have been reading. I may do a few book reviews now and then. I love the holidays where I can sit by my lit Christmas tree and read and drink hot chocolate. That is what my nights are filled with these days (yes we've already decorated).

I am jealous that you already have your Christmas up. I love sitting next to the tree at nights drinking hot chocolate. I love white lights on the tree... it makes it a little brighter to see the words on the pages. Happy reading.

I honestly have never been able to grasp to odds concept either so sorry that I can not be any help.

I'm terrible with probability. Whenever a student logs in for help and says "I need help with probability" I gringe. Sorry to hear you have the same problem.

Hey Cami I'd love to see the reading blog. Is it private? I like to see what other people are reading. That's why I like Goodreads so much. I'm glad you are enjoying your holidays already.

Don't worry, I don't get the odds either. I just pretend I do most of the time.
