My Amelia, she knows how to melt my heart. We were out on a walk with friends. We were a building over and she was playing with rocks. And she says, I go home now mommy. And proceeds to take off running to our apartment building. I scooped up Maya and caught up with her just in time to see her starting up the stairs. But she had been out of my sight for a minute and it scared me. And she knows better. So I was upset.
We get inside and she got a timeout. Then she comes out and is asking for snacks, for me to play with her, etc and I'm doing dishes and just being short with her and still frustrated. So she walks up to me and says, "We be friends again mommy?"
Who can stay mad after that?

So cute! I have not been on in forever, your girls are so cute, and getting so big! Jack ran away from me today, and lets just say I was pretty mad as well. I am glad kids can bounce back so quickly after we are short with them!
that is just the sweetest thing that you can't resist. Amelia is so good to know what stairs to go up at least.
She already knows how to work it! She is such a smart little girl :)
