Missing Movies

She did not want to wake up from her nap to sit up in the high chair. So this is how she spent our whole lunch at The Brick Oven.
Most of the time we go out on dates, it is out to dinner. Because we get to bring Amelia right along, and she's chill and always adds to the fun.

But we have been missing movies. It's so fun to go out to the movies. I have never even tried to bring Amelia because I don't want to waste money if it doesn't work out for her. I couldn't imagine her being comfortable with such loud sound.

But I do have a few movies I want to see this summer. They may end up on the Red Box list, or library if Austin has an awesome library like we do here. But still, I'll daydream that I may see at least one or two of these in the theater.

Thor
This movie was not even on my radar. But then I got a text from my sister saying it was the best super hero movie she'd ever seen. I asked, even better than Spiderman? In which she laughed at me and thought I was kidding. Am I the only one that loved Spiderman?

Midnight in Paris
I mean, I am not sure about this synopsis, it doesn't seem that interesting. And Woody Allen, iffy. But Rachel McAdams, I am a 100% supporter. And this movie is where she met her current love Michael Sheen. They are adorable.
Harry Potter
This has to be seen in the theater.

The Help
I read the book. And LOVED it. Go get the book now, you will not be able to put it down. The acting looks great. I don't think the previews are making it look as good as it really is. I hope that's not a sign on what the movie is like. I am very hopeful on this one.

Crazy Stupid Love
Ryan Gosling in a comedy. A romantic comedy. I am very excited for this one. I love his charm and wit. One of my favorite actors. Hope it doesn't disappoint.

Did I miss any good ones? Happy Memorial Day weekend!
Love this skirt on her!

What in the world? I can't believe she could just fall asleep in a restaurant like that! She just looks like one of the sweetest little things in the entire world!

I saw Thor. It was fun.... like any other movie like that. I cannot wait for The Help! Loved the book!

Your movie line up looks really good. I hope you can make it some of them. Too bad the movie theaters in Tooele are so crappy. You could bring her to us and go to a movie. If you get desperate there's an option!

I love the picture of Amelia. I can't believe she stayed asleep! Too cute. We also haven't ever tried to take Lexi to a movie before. But I know at some point we will. Brian's a big movie guy, so he misses seeing them. Some I want to see that are missing from your list are Cars 2, Kung Fu Panda 2, and the Green Lantern (or is thte hornet? I get those confused. Lol. The Ryan Reynolds one-LOVE him!)

I was wondering how u took that picture. What a great date, especially since amelia was sleep. You know us, we won't see any of those movies until mom buys them...if she does!

I am so excited for Crazy Stupid Love. I don't think Ryan Gosling could ever be in a bad movie. I am nervous about the Woody Allen movie. I have never liked one of his movies. We may wait for dvd for that one. I don't even think it will play in our theater here anyway.

did you ever go and see midnight in paris!? we just saw it on friday. it was good. i enjoyed it. laid back film. just one you enjoy. you don't have to think to hard :). it's a flim you are just entertained with, but nothing over the top. very simple.

we also had fun picking out all the sights we got to see while visiting the week before, so i may be biased because of that.

go see it, or at least red box it and just sit back and relax :).

p.s. it was clean. i don't remember feeling uncomfortable at all.
