Here are the stats:- 16 lb 1.5 oz, skinny mini
- 27.8 inches, still tall
- And still a big head
No ear infection so that is good news. We need to work on her eating habits. She currently arches her back and tries to run away from anything on a spoon. Unless it is our grown up food, that she would climb over any obstacle for. Too bad almost everything we eat has meat or dairy that she cannot have yet. I will have to do meal planning now with her in mind. I am just going to try every day 4 times a day and she'll have to learn to love food, right?
Any advice out there for picky-eater babies?

She is SO CUTE.
Carly was/is the worst eater. I just kept at it, went through the motions every meal, even if she really did not eat a thing and I wanted to cry. At that age they still get most of thier nutrition from formula/breastmilk anyway. But doing it consistently taught carly that this is what you do.
Just keep at it. Try different foods and find out what she likes. Carly loved fruit, so we'd like give two bites of banana, then sneak in a bite of green beans:)
Good luck! I know how much fun a picky eater can be.
That picture of her is so adorable!
I agree with Erin- she's getting most of it through milk anyway, so don't stress. Just try a ton of different foods and she'll eventually find something she likes. Try finger foods that she can pick up herself, like the puffs or cheerios.
Abby is still skinny, but she'll eat a lot more now. It gets better with time, so don't stress. She'll do it when she's ready.
I'd have to agree with the above girls. Keep at it so that she learns that this is what you do at meal time. Charlotte loved it when I started letting her feed herself. She got way more interested in food. So try little finger foods she can grab herself that are still soft enough for her to gum. Maybe it will help her get interested/excited about food...?
lol. "still a big head" I laughed so hard when I saw that. I thought she was loving the baby food!? What happened? She's so cute!
I don't know if you remember us from about a year ago but with Brycen, we would just keep offering things to him, let him see us eating them, saying, "mmmm", but never forcing him too. Over time, he's been eating more and more. Good luck!
Btw, she is a doll!! I love the picture at the top with your husband and then her 7 month old picture! So cute!!
I agree with the comments about being consistent, and having her try finger foods---try different forms of the same food--for example, you could puree peas, or have her pick up her own whole peas, same with bananas etc....
It is so frustrating when you can't seem to get them to eat--just be patient and keep trying--try things over and over again, and maybe she'll warm up to them--that seemed to work for Cameron. Good luck!
The cutest picture ever!!! I love her smile!!
West is a pretty picky eater, mostly cause he is independent. I would give him a spoon when I was feeding him, so he felt like he was in control.
I also alternated foods. I would give him a bite of food he loved like any fruit, and then one he did not like vegetables. I changed my pattern often, like two bites he liked and one he did not, so he had to guess. He would keep eating, waiting for the "good bite" Good luck!!!!
Her teeth are probably about ready to pop if she pulling on her ear so much. That is an adorable picture on the bed, she looks so flexible.
That is the cutest picture ever!!! What a cutie pie. Honetly, you daughter is one of the cutest babies I've ever seen. I love how her hands are clasped together and that gigantic smile on her face is so sweet.
OK could she get any cuter I ask?! Seriously, I think my 3 month old is heavier than your 7 month old. Actually most people guess Lucas is about 7-8 months.
Anyway she is adorable!
She's such a beautiful little girl! That's good that she doesn't have an ear infection-Lexi had one in each ear last week and it wasn't fun at all! That's funny that she's so picky. Hopefully she grows out of that soon!
She's adorable! I love looking at your pictures. And it's ok if she has a big head - she'll grow out of it.
jackson was a way picky eater too!!! don't worry i promise she'll come around; it just feels like it takes FOREVER!!! i finally just adopted the attitude that he had his whole life to eat adult food and once my that happened i swear he started doing so much better.
So I found your blog randomly (by clicking next blog on the dashboard) and i NEVER leave comments on random blogs, but I just have to tell you that your little girl is one of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen! (and I have two of my own so that is saying a lot!) You must be so proud! :)
