I am not as huge a fan of Harry Potter as some people, but I have read all the books once over the course of years and years. And I enjoy the movies. Juan borrowed the movies from our friends a little while ago and got all caught up during his semester breaks. Turns out he really loves the series! Too bad he's not a reader.
Sunday we had a big Harry Potter marathon and watched 2-5. We skipped the first movie because of time and because it's pretty basic and easy to remember. Then Monday night we went out to dinner and to the new movie Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. We both loved it! It was confusing at parts though. I think the movie took too much liberty in assuming we've all read the books. I read the book a while ago so my memory didn't hold up. But I just love how well the movies are made and how entertaining, regardless of the confusing parts.

:) you guys are so cute! how are you?
Hey that's great that Harry Potter and the Roller Coaster are similar events for you guys. The marathon sounds fun. I haven't read the book so I'm hoping the new movie won't be too confusing.
I lost interest in the books after #4 and haven't liked any of the movies (well, #5 was ok) but we saw this one and I LOVED it. I thought it was quite good with a lot more humor. i'm impressed by your marathon!
oh, and thats how chris and I look at theaters. especially chris. he gets so excited!
That's like one of the best pictures of juan; he's acutally smiling normal!! I don't know if i could do the whole marathon of movies but i do enjoy them. Hope life is good.
that picture of you two is awsome. And I totally agree that they assumed everyone has read the book or remember the book....which I don't becuase I basically forget eveything a week after I've read it.
