Another review. I've been reading local successful blogs, where they have paid advertisers and such. And they do reviews. Well because of this I've wanted to try these places, and now I'm convinced that these are paid reviews, such as, I'll pay you money to give my restaurant a good review. Rude.
On this particular blog, Pizzeria 712 was dubbed "best place to eat in Utah County". Come on, really?
I liked it. Very fresh, very healthy tasting, very artsy. Some of the paintings were creepy. They brought out pita bread and hummus as the appetizer. I couldn't help laughing, it just seemed so new-age, and with Juan beside me, it was just too quaint for him. I ordered the braised beef panini which on the menu said it came with a salad. The salad was a tiny cup of wheat rice mixed with dried apricots and nuts. Again a laughable moment. It was tasty, I really liked the salad and the panani. Juan's pizza was ok, very thin, floppy crust, possibly pita bread-ish. The pizza tasted 'healthy' to me. Which in pizza is not a good taste. Juan did like it though, but it left him still hungry. We finished with a cookie ice cream dessert which was scrumptious, but small. Juan said, is this the first helping of the dessert?
As we sat there I thought, this is the kind of place celebs eat and how they stay skinny. We eat out a lot, and maybe we need to take the more healthier route! We left and noticed the cars in the parking lot, lexus, jaguar, suv, suv, suv... all brand new. Guess it's a winner for the rich.
I love how this was completely mixed. Overall I enjoyed it, and would go back again. I can be artsy too.

Your bread and hummus being new-age comment made me laugh. Out here, it's hardly a proper gathering without some hummus and veggies or pita chips!
But I do agree that pizza is not meant to be healthy!
I have been there too! It was an interesting experience, and was quite pricey (for which I was grateful that it was my mom that was paying! :) )
We went there once. It was OK, but the pizza was a little overpriced. Overall I preferred Nicolitalia. Or the Pie! I miss that place.
Seriously I have been there and i felt like nicole richie was sitting like 6 inches away from us! we sat at a table and seriously it was as if the table next to us was eating with us. i would totally agree a little too "new age trendy" for us.
