My Happy Place

Target is my happy place too! I just read a blog where she said, whenever I'm sad or depressed, I go to my Happy Place-Target.Well Target is the place I turn to whenever I'm bored. And most of the time I drag Juan along with me (unless I don't want him to talk me out of buying something). I realize there are stores similar to Target, but none are so colorful and inviting. Here are some of my favorite things at Target right now:

Cardigans. Love them. They are so lightweight and the perfect length for my tallness. And the colors are so fun: pink, green, purple. Do not be surprised to see me with a few different colors of this one piece of clothing. Does anybody else do that?Plaid slip-ons. I bought these as a gift for myself for my birthday, wrapped them up and everything.
Now this is not my usual taste in purses, and I welcome all the comments of "That's ugly" and my dear sister Crystal telling me to add this to my granny purse collection. The furry brown looking part is not furry, but a soft leathery feeling. Of course it's not real leather, but none of my purses are so it'll fit right in. This one is on the wish list, I haven't bought it yet.
Going for $12.95, this expensive strainer catches my eye every time we go. I probably will not buy it, but I love it. The color, the collapsibility, the rubbery stuff. Does anyone have one of these? Is it durable?
Work out pants in LONG. Love them. I never have been able to buy stretchy pants or pajama pants because I'm tall. And does anyone think of tall people when making work out pants, I guess not. I have these in black and gray and love them.

There you have it. Basically it's bad news for me to walk into a Target because I always spend money. But it's just oh so happy.

I miss living close to a Target. I feel like I found the best deals there when I was a frequent shopper. It is a very happy place. Much happier than that big W place.

I didn't know they made work-out pants in long at target!! Thank you! I have the same problem! What, they think only "short" or "regular" people work-out!? Gotta go find 'em now!

Don't worry, I already forwarded your blog to the head of advertising for Target. You should be getting a phone call for a job offer in the next few days...

I love target too!

I LOVE Target too! Back home it was like 2 minutes from my house and my friend and I would go all the time. People always try to tell me that Wal-Mart is better because it's cheaper, but I hate Wal-Mart & I hate shopping there. Target is by far superior!
My aunt has some collapsable measuring cups and she loves them. And, I want to go see those work out pants because I have the same problem of not being able to find long ones. For some reason, stretch usually means extra short.
I also love that you gave yourself a birthday present. Classic!:)
